A private transfer to or from Port of Miami and Medley runs at a flat rate from $80 per vehicle, in a black SUV for up to 5 riders or a private Mercedes-Benz Sprinter van for larger groups. Your bilingual driver meets you curbside at the PortMiami cruise terminal, then heads inland on the Dolphin Expressway (SR-836) toward Medley’s warehouse district — one fixed price locked at booking, no surge for demand or traffic.
Pricing is per vehicle, not per person, so your whole group rides for the one flat fare below:
Much of this town is warehousing and light industry, where several companies share one address and the useful marker is the bay or suite number on the roller door. If your destination is a workplace rather than a home, send the company name as it appears on the sign, the suite, and a phone that is answered on site. Note the hour the gate closes if there is one.
The simplest way is a private point-to-point transfer booked ahead of your sailing. Pick the vehicle that fits your party — the black SUV for up to 5, the Mercedes-Benz Sprinter van for groups of 6 to 9, or the larger Sprinter for 10 to 14 — and reserve at least 24 hours before pickup so your slot is confirmed. As you step off the ship, your driver is already curbside at the cruise terminal, ready to assist load and stow every cruise bag before rolling out. There is no shared vehicle and no scheduled route to wait on: the car is yours alone, straight from the terminal to your Medley door. Under-24-hour requests are still reviewed by hand, though availability is not promised, and the day before your journey we text the driver’s name, vehicle model, and license plate so you know exactly who to look for.
The run from PortMiami to Medley is a short inland journey, not a cross-county haul. After leaving the cruise terminal your driver picks up the Dolphin Expressway (SR-836) and heads west, away from the beaches, toward the warehouse and logistics region where Medley sits. Off-peak — mid-morning or early afternoon — traffic moves freely and you reach rapidly. During weekday rush hours, or on mornings when several ships disembark at once and the port empties in one wave, the expressway fills and the same drive stretches longer. Your driver watches live conditions and chooses the cleanest inland route so you reach Medley without backtracking, and the fare you agreed to never moves with the clock.
The vehicle is reserved for your group alone — nobody else climbs aboard, and you never wait on other passengers’ stops. Your driver is bilingual, speaking English plus Spanish or Portuguese, and knows the terminal layout that leaves so numerous cruisers standing lost with their bags. The rate is fixed the moment you book: it does not climb because it is a hectic sailing day, a holiday weekend, or a rainy afternoon. Booking and questions run straight through WhatsApp, so a real person answers instead of an app queue. Drivers help load and unload every piece of cruise luggage, so nobody wrestles a heavy bag at the curb. For a family on a tight embarkation clock or a group disembarking tired at dawn, that combination — one private car, a driver who waits for you, and a price that holds — is what makes the journey to or from Port of Miami and Medley simple.
Every choice is a private vehicle held for your party only — pick by headcount and luggage:
Medley is one of northwest Miami-Dade’s working towns, built around warehouses, distribution centers, and wholesale trade rather than beaches or nightlife.
It is a business-first community: logistics yards, light manufacturing, and commercial parks fill most of its footprint, with a small resident population tucked among them. Travelers usually head to Medley for a warehouse showroom, a wholesale supplier, a corporate site, or a job at one of its numerous distribution operations — not for tourist landmarks. The pace is industrial and practical, and the surrounding inland stretch of the county carries the same commercial character. For an overview of the town, see the Medley neighborhood guide.
Unlike the oceanfront and downtown districts, Medley is inland and industrial — no shoreline, no causeways, just warehouse blocks and commercial corridors. If you are staying in the area rather than downtown, look at the broader northwest Miami-Dade business zones nearby; they share Medley’s practical, work-focused feel and sit within the same inland reach.
Tolls, SunPass, and fuel are all built into the price you pay — no add-ons at the curb.
The fare also covers a bilingual driver, curb-side meet at the cruise terminal with a name sign when you ask for one over WhatsApp in advance, and onboard WiFi through a mobile hotspot. Your driver tracks the ship so a late dock never costs you extra, loads and unloads your cruise luggage, and holds the courtesy waiting window at no charge. Each passenger brings one checked bag plus one carry-on, with room for cruise luggage; if you have extra or oversized bags, message us in advance on WhatsApp and we confirm the space or size you up to a larger van.
The rate excludes food and drinks, driver gratuity — always optional and appreciated — parking costs, and unscheduled stops. A short nearby stop arranged in advance can be worked in, though a small fee may apply. Anything beyond the point-to-point drive and the listed inclusions is simply not part of the booking.
Yes. The first child seat is free for a child under 5, so families traveling with one little one pay nothing extra for it. Each additional child seat carries a small fee confirmed when you book. Let us know the number and ages over WhatsApp so the right seats are installed before pickup.
Small pets are welcome with advance notice on WhatsApp, carried in a proper pet carrier for the ride. Tell us before the trip so the driver expects the carrier and plans space around your luggage. Just mention it when you book, and we confirm it as part of your reservation.
Pay by Venmo, Zelle, or a secure payment link sent over WhatsApp or the website; card and link payments carry a 4% bank fee.
Full cash payment at pickup is not accepted. For a pickup starting at PortMiami or elsewhere on the Miami side — the usual direction for this route — you confirm with a 50% deposit and hand the remaining 50% to the driver on journey day, cash fine for that half. Reverse-direction pickups from farther out, in Broward, Palm Beach, and beyond, require full payment in advance. Booking 24 or more hours ahead secures your slot, and a booked time can be moved with 24+ hours notice, subject to availability.
A round trip is simply double the one-way fare shown in the price list — one flat amount each way, with your return pickup arranged at booking. There is no separate round-trip markup and no per-person math; the rate stays per vehicle for your whole group in both directions.
Cancel with 24 or more hours notice for a full refund. Within 24 hours of the scheduled pickup the booking is non-refundable, since the vehicle and driver are already committed to you. Need to shift the time instead of cancel? A booked pickup can be moved with 24+ hours notice, subject to availability.
Daytime hours are 7:00 AM to 9:00 PM with no surcharge. Trips that pick up outside that window carry a small night charge on top of the fare:
Cruise port transportation is a pre-booked private ride that connects your ship’s terminal with a land destination — here, PortMiami to Medley. Instead of hunting a curbside ride after you disembark, a named driver waits for you with your bags in mind. For our service that means a reserved SUV or private van, a fixed fare, and door-to-door drop-off.
Your driver waits curb-side right at your PortMiami cruise terminal, meeting the group as you exit with your luggage. Request a name sign in advance over WhatsApp and the driver holds it so you spot them fast. Thirty minutes of courtesy waiting from the agreed time is included, and the driver helps load every bag.
Yes — disembarkation-day pickups are a core part of this service. Your driver tracks the ship’s arrival and actual debark timing, so if you clear the terminal late, the pickup is re-timed at no extra cost. Book ahead, and the driver is curbside when you finally step off with your bags, ready to roll to Medley.
Yes. Beyond this Medley run, we handle private transfers between Miami International Airport (MIA) and PortMiami in either direction — a common embarkation-day link for flying cruisers. Pickups start at MIA or PortMiami, with the same private SUV or van, fixed fare, and flight tracking. Ask on WhatsApp and we quote the airport-to-port leg for your dates.
The price is per vehicle, not per person — your whole group rides for the one flat fare in the price list above. A solo traveler and a family of five in the same SUV pay the same amount. Larger parties merely move up to the private van tier that fits their headcount and luggage.
Each passenger brings one checked bag plus one carry-on, and there is real room for cruise luggage in both the SUV and the private van. Traveling with extra or oversized bags? Message us in advance on WhatsApp and we confirm the space or size you up to a larger van — never a hard cutoff.

The through routes here carry commercial vehicles from early morning onward, and the last stretch moves at its own pace regardless of how the highway ran. It is worth allowing for when you choose between an early debarkation group and a later one. Tell us what time you would rather be at the door and the collection is planned from there.
